Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor Intial
This comprehensive course provides detailed information about the asbestos abatement process including specifics on federal, state and local regulatory requirements. This 5-Day course includes two days of hands-on activities such as containment and decontamination chamber construction, glove bag removal and post removal cleanup exercise. Each attendee must successfully complete a 100-question multiple choice exam in order to receive their certification. PTA courses are approved by EPA, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, New York and Maryland. Most other states have reciprocity rules that accept PTA course offerings. If you anticipate the need to be licensed in a state other than those mentioned above, contact that state’s regulatory agency to check its reciprocity policy.
If New York approval is required, please call our office no later than 10 business days prior to the start of class M-F 7:30a-3:30p, and indicate that you need New York approval with your registration. There is no New York approval option when registering online. This course can be conducted onsite.
