This 3-Day class certifies individuals to conduct lead-based paint inspections and perform clearance wipe tests. The course emphasizes proper inspection techniques, state-of-the-art instrumentation and elements of an inspection report. Differences between single family and multi-family inspections are discussed along with current EPA clearance levels. Each class goes to a single family dwelling for a practice inspection as part of the hands-on activities. Each student must pass a 50-question exam to qualify for certification.
There are no currently scheduled classes, however PTA can conduct this course for groups either at our training center or onsite at a client's facility. Contact Greg Ashman for further information.
