Asbestos Worker Initial
All individuals involved in actual asbestos abatement activities must attend this 4-Day course which includes 16-hours of hands-on activities. The emphasis of this course is to teach the attendee how to protect himself and to conduct the abatement activities according to regulatory and specification requirements. Each attendee is given the opportunity to use the abatement equipment and supplies to set up an asbestos containment area, conduct a glove bag removal and properly conduct post abatement cleanup activities. Each attendee must pass a 50-question multiple choice exam in order to receive their certification.
If New York approval is required, please call our office no later than 10 business days prior to the start of class M-F 7:30a-3:30p, and indicate that you need New York approval with your registration. There is no New York approval option when registering online. This course can be conducted onsite.
