EPA’s RRP rule (40 CFR 745) requires that renovations conducted for compensation in child-occupied facilities and pre-1978 homes be conducted by Certified Firms using Certified Renovators. This 8-hour course accomplishes the renovator portion of this requirement with a mix of classroom lecture and hands-on activities. Renovation firms that wish to work in pre-1978 homes and child-occupied facilities must apply to EPA to become certified. This course will teach you how to comply with the EPA RRP rule and the HUD Lead Safe Housing Rule, and how to perform lead-safe work practices safely and effectively.There are no currently scheduled classes, however PTA can conduct this course for groups either at our training center or onsite at a client's facility.
