This course meets OSHA training requirements (29 CFR 1910.120€) for individuals working on a site containing hazardous substances or health and safety hazards. This may include Brownfields, Superfund sites, uncontrolled hazardous waste sites or other contaminated properties covered by CERCLA or RCRA regulations. Topics include: chemical properties & hazard recognition, site characterization, site control, PPE, monitoring or instrumentation and developing a Health and Safety Plan. The students will participate extensively in hands-on activities that include donning level B protection in a simulated emergency response exercise. A 50-Question exam is administered at the conclusion of the course. This course can be conducted onsite.There are no currently scheduled classes, however PTA can conduct this course for groups either at our training center or onsite at a client's facility.
